Terms of Service

These terms are a binding agreement between you and DONO Studio LLC (“DONO Studio”, “we”, “us”), the operator of Astropilot(s), covering your use of astropilots.app and everything we offer through it (the “Service”). By using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Astropilot(s) is, and what it is not

Astropilot(s) produces astrology-based readings and conversation for reflection and entertainment. It draws on Western and Eastern astrological methods and on AI-generated text. It is not professional financial, legal, medical, career, or mental-health advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. We do not promise that any reading is accurate, complete, or predictive of real events, and you are responsible for the decisions you make. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or, in the US, call or text 988.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You can begin anonymously and later attach a Google account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping access to your Google login secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

• Some features require payment. Prices and what each plan includes are shown before you buy.
• On the website, payments are handled by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for the plan you select.
• If you subscribe in the iPhone app, the purchase is made through the App Store: Apple, not us, charges your Apple ID account, under Apple’s terms. It renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID account settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions). Deleting your Astropilot(s) account does not cancel it.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated. Apple decides refunds for App Store purchases: you can ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• We may change prices or plan features. Changes to a recurring price apply from the next billing period, and we will give you notice beforehand.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful.
• Submit another person’s personal information without their permission.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest content or data except as allowed by these terms.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or model prompts, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
• Interfere with, overload, or bypass any security or rate-limiting measure.
• Resell or commercially redistribute the Service or its output.

6. Content and intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You keep ownership of the inputs you provide, such as your birth details and chat messages. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. Subject to your compliance with these terms, the reading text generated for you is yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. AI-generated output may not be unique to you and similar text may be produced for other users.

7. AI-generated content

Readings and chat replies are produced by an automated system and may be inaccurate, inconsistent between sessions, or not suited to your situation. Treat the output as one perspective, not as fact or instruction.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Google, Firebase, the Gemini API, Stripe, and the Apple App Store. Your use of those services through Astropilot(s) is also subject to their terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 US dollars.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as content licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will continue to apply.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or a small-claims proceeding, and you consent to venue there.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give more prominent notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
